Losing weight is simple, it’s just not easy. So the key to weight loss success is finding a way to create a calorie deficit over a sustained period to lose the weight you want. Opinions on how to achieve weight loss success are varied. Chances are if you tell your friends or work colleagues about going on a diet, most will be quick to offer their own advice on what it takes to lose the lard, but the thing is, however you break it down. It really is all about calories in v calories out. Oops, there I go already, saying that only calories matter, what about eating low carb ? or what about a low fat diet, should we eat more frequently to keep our metabolism high ?. There seems to be so many rules for weight loss, but ask yourself this questiong. ” If all these rules worked, why are so many people still looking for weight loss success ?. As I said at the start, weight loss does not need to be complicated. If you truly want to lose weight, and keep it off for good, then it’s time to thow away the rule book and realise that if you focus on just eating less calories than your body requires , then you will lose weight.
